Royal Palms
Mid-Rise Residential Towers in a First-Mover Market

ABOUT
Sustained Execution in an Unfamiliar Terrain
Royal Palms was developed at a time when high-rise construction in Jammu was nearly unheard of. At 40 meters, it became the city’s tallest residential structure during its time of delivery. The project introduced mid-rise living to a low-rise landscape, pushing engineering and operational boundaries from day one.
Working in Jammu brought its own set of constraints. Harsh winter conditions, poor availability of local resources, and rocky soil conditions made early-stage work difficult. Labour teams from outside the region were hesitant to mobilize, and the absence of piling meant that foundations had to be executed entirely through excavation.
Tectonic Engineers delivered the full structural scope across multiple phases using a repeatable system that allowed consistency across towers. Royal Palms remains a case study in how to maintain speed, rhythm, and control across an evolving team and a complex site.
